Writing (30 minutes, 15 points)
范文:
It goes without saying that this picture aims at revealing a current problem: some organizations pose ridiculous conditions when recruiting new hires. In this drawing, a company is only willing to hire those who were born in the year of dog, a requirement that surprises and frightens many job applicants. Even a dog is wondering whether there is a higher possibility for it to be employed than a human.
It seems to me that the artist is sending a message about the importance of a fair talent market which is currently absent in our society. Though the drawing is a little exaggerated, it is not rare for us to find in some recruitment advertisements discrimination of age, gender, educational background, and sometimes even height, which is quite humiliating. If we let this situation of physical traits outweighing actual ability to continue, it not only harms many job applicants‘ confidence and impedes their career path, but also prevents organizations from discovering potential talents.
Accordingly, we urgently call for a healthy recruitment market that encourages fair competition. For one thing, employers and their HR need to realize that a just hiring process, in fact, benefits the performance of their organization. For another, relevant regulations should also be enacted and improved so that discrimination in recruitment can be sued and punished.

Writing (30 minutes, 15 points)
范文:
The picture depicts a scenario in which an ancient royal palace is being recklessly torn down. In front of the gate are two stone lions crying and hugging farewell, realizing their inevitable destiny of being destroyed. Besides, in the dust we can vaguely read a sign stating that the site was once deemed a municipal culture relic.
The picture sharply addresses the serious conflict of the conflict between urban development and the preservation of historical sites. The issue is especially controversial in China, where there exists rich history, diversified tradition and cultural deposits. Take Beijing as an example, the municipal government is still trapped in the dilemma between constructing more modern buildings and maintaining the prestigious courtyard houses. Moreover, a brief survey on the internet reveals learn numerous tragedies about the irreversible damage to historical sites.
In my opinion, a balanced economic development is not necessarily accompanied by the sacrifice of history. On the contrary, historical sites are the memory of our country‘s glorious past, which can enable citizens‘ identity with the nation. Therefore, we must work out a win-win strategy to promote economic development while retaining our cultural heritage. Meanwhile, a proper management of these sites can also bring a considerable amount of tourism income.
